Brad Broom relocated to Brown & Brown of Minneapolis in early 2009 to work as a Commercial Insurance Advisor here and in 2018 became the Profit Center Leader, Brad provides experienced leadership to the team, managing operations, workforce development, regional growth, and overall strategy. In addition, he provides excellent support and service to clients.

Prior to joining Brown & Brown Insurance, Brad was employed by Hub International in Santa Barbara, CA where he worked as a commercial Property Broker immediately after finishing college in 2004. Brad attended Westmont College in Montecito, CA where he first met his wife Elizabeth. He is licensed in all 50 states for property and casualty insurance, as well as life and health insurance. He serves in the Builder’s Group Agents Advisory Council and Minnesota Restaurant Association Brand of Directors.

Brad specializes in commercial insurance, specifically in the areas of risk management, workers compensation, and executive liability. His favorite part of the job is interacting with entrepreneurs and business owners to become familiar with their stories and understand how they develop their business. Brad feels that Brown & Brown of Minneapolis stands out from our competition because we are the only insurance intermediaries that combine a truly decentralized local service model with national resources and capabilities. The Minneapolis team actively engages with teammates throughout the country to bring our clients the best solutions from any division within Brown & Brown.

Brad is actively involved in Minnesota community organizations. He is a California transplant that loves living in Minneapolis area, currently residing in Plymouth. Brad and his wife Elizabeth enjoy traveling and have three wonderful boys, Cade, Owen, and Anders. Originally from the Monterey area of the Central Coast, Brad spent his summers caddying at Pebble Beach Golf Links. When not in the office you’re likely to see Brad on a local golf course making bogeys with friends or helping his boys learn the game.
